Spring/Summer 2010: Intern Position: I have structured my coursework so that this spring I will be able to tax internship credits with a few online classes. I am looking forward to hopefully serving in a public accounting position, where I can gain more skills and add value to the company. I am very interested in positions in the Marshall, Mankato, New Ulm area as well as with companies that would likely be looking for full time help around December 2010. December 2010/ January 2011: I am looking forward to full time work in public accounting, especially in a business where I can work directly with tax and other clients. I am especially interested in tax preparation and planning and business consulting, but would be interested in other opportunities and also in firms where there is a mix of accounting, auditing, tax and consulting work. I have a background in agriculture and business and hope to add value to clients.

I am a graduate of Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School. I am currently enrolled in my third year at Southwest MN State University in Marshall, MN. I am double-majoring in agribusiness and accounting. I currently have completed 95 credits, with plans to complete 150 credits nesscessary for the CPA Licensure in December 2010. I have a 3.96 GPA and have completed nearly all of my accounting coursework. While in college, I have been involved in the Accounting Club, Agribusiness Club, Post Secondary Ag Students (PAS), Bowling Club, local campus ministry, served as chair of the Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee and am currently serving on the Southwest MN State University Student Assocation Board as Treasurer. I have also been involved in various community service while here.
