Objective/Audience

More and more accountants are finding they need to be up-to-date on financial matters facing seniors. This seminar is designed for accountants working with this market segment.

Level 1 is the first of three workshops designed to prepare accountants for the Accredited Retirement Advisor test, and is a prerequisite for those taking the exam in an effort to obtain the Accredited Retirement Advisor® (ARA) credential. Attendees receive a take-home exam after completion of each level. After passing all 3 levels (within 3 years) you will qualify for the ARA Certification. As an attendee of this seminar, you will:

This program, presented by Steven Siegel, was developed in accordance with the recommended curriculum developed by ACAT.

Speaker:

Steven G. Siegel is president of The Siegel Group, a Morristown, New Jersey-based national consulting firm specializing in tax consulting, estate planning and advising family business owners and entrepreneurs. Mr. Siegel holds a BS from Georgetown University, a JD from Harvard Law School, and an LLM in Taxation from New York University. He has authored several books on elder care topics and has lectured extensively throughout the United States on tax, business, and estate planning topics.
